Cheers to the 3 Day Weekend!

We finally got a long weekend! So we made sure to have a fun filled weekend. I don't have pics for all of our fun events but I will go ahead and talk about them. Festivities started Friday afternoon with a Father/Son camp out. Ezias reminded me several times that NO GIRLS were allowed at their camp. Only boys! I did not mind. While they were away I went to dinner with a friend at Cheesecake Factory. Yummy! My boys came back Saturday afternoon in time for us to head to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base.Even though the weather was not the greatest it was such a neat experience. I tried taking pics but the Thunderbirds were flying too fast for my camera! Next stop we were off to watch the US Open Volleyball Tournament. Over 400 teams from around the world are in Salt Lake competing. We saw some great teams playing. I must admit I was partial to the teams from Brasil.
Sunday night we had family over for games and desserts. What a great combination. Fun filled night of laughter and catching up.
I would have to vote that Monday was my favorite day....because this is where we spent most of it.....

Sadly Josh had to work all day but me and EZ got to hang out with family again and celebrate Mahonri's birthday at Cowabunga Bay. The weather was perfect. Five hours in the sun provided me with a much needed tan!

Marli and Ezias

There were slides and huge buckets of waters being dumped and The Nile River to float in....but Ezias spent most of his time here in the kiddie pool. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to going back with Josh next time. So that was our fun-filled weekend. Ezias knocked out early and slept very well that night.

Picnic and a Movie

Ezias' friends Syrie and Seryn came all the way from Eagle Mountain to join us for a picnic at the park and movie. The weather was perfect. Ezias fed the ducks popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. Hopefully they're still doing ok. The Lorax kept the kids and even us adults entertained and laughing. It was a good night.

Ez's new hair cut

If you didn't know he was a punk before...now you can really tell. : ) Thanks to his Uncle Junior and Auntie Kiga Ezias got a hair cut. In my opinion it was long over due. It really suits him whether he is doing karate around the house or rapping at the top of his lungs free-styling.

I'm not gonna lie. It's hard to keep up with this kid all the time...but we get a lot of good laughs from his entertainment. This was a song he just made up on the fly. He's already taking after his Uncle Olaea.
