Travelin Fool

We consider ourselves very lucky that Ezias travels so well in the car. We've been making this 15 hour drive with him since before he turned one. He slept peacefully and when he was awake he would plug in his Spongebob earphones to his superman movies.

Before making the official trek back to Utah we stopped by the Kansas City temple. It is beautiful and different from other temples. It's exciting to know that next time we go home it will be open and fully functioning. It will be a great blessing.

Champions

Annie, Lance, Osi (the champion) and Gese.

Before heading back to Utah we watched Siaosi's championship basketball game. The game was very intense as both teams defensive effort put the game into overtime. The Indians managed to force key turnovers to give them the lead, but the Bobcats battled back by making critical free throws, but the Indians came out on top! It was great to witness this event. I'm not gonna lie...I did get a little emotional. It was a proud "Auntie moment" for me.
I would also like to mention that Annie played a game while we were there too, but we weren't able to go. That did not stop her from scoring 17 pts at her game. Way to go! We also got to watch Jack (5 yrs old) and Lance at their flag football practice. It's crazy how fast the kids are growing up. We hope to be able to move closer to Missouri in the future so we can witness more of their great accomplishments. Josh really enjoyed working with the kids on their speed all week and can see potential in all of them.

...more Missouri memories

I got to meet up with a couple of the girls Vai (Vienna), and Tanya! It was so fun to catch up and see them for a little bit. Thanks to Tanya's expertise on using the camera timer we were able to snap this pic.

Molly, Jaida and JR. Cute family!

Speed Camp

Josh had the opportunity to work with our nieces, nephews and friends with some speed training. He brought some of the P.A.L.A. Speed training drills and equipment from Utah, and went straight to work. The kids got their butts kicked, but Josh says all of them improved a ton from the first day he worked with them. The workouts consisted of form running, footwork, power, agility, and a killer core workout. The kids loved it, but at the same time knew it was hard work. We were glad JR came out to help him, along with some of his experienced P.A.L.A. Athletes Lance and Siaosi. I enjoy watching Josh do what he loves and that's working with kids. He's very patient and makes learning fun for the kids.

Wiser showing his footwork skills.

It all starts with your form, ear to pocket!

Olivia and Lance knockin out the drill and off to the races!

The "babies" Group getting their form technique drills

The core workout kicks EVERYONE'S butt!!!

Missouri Vacay - Cousins

Josh had spring break last week so we decided to make a break for Missouri! It was a great trip. So many people to see in very little time. A week sounds long but it flies by when you're trying to get in all the family time you can. Ezias loves spending time with his cousins when he comes to Missouri. These are just a few of them.
Watch out for this guy! If you have food in your hand Tui will quickly become your best friend. Last time I saw him he wasn't walking. So now it's easier for him to get what he wants.

Meet Karely! She's my newest niece and I love her. : ) I'm glad I got to kiss on these cheeks.

Ezias pushing around his cousin Jaida. He was pretty good playing with her so hopefully he will do the same when his little brother comes around.

5 all-star trouble makers! Gordon, Lance, Tui, Jack and Ezias.

Play Date

We love to have play dates! Ezias loves to play with his friends Izzy and Ian. It's a win-win because I get to catch up with my good friend Stephanie. I'm really glad Steph had her camera to capture this moment. Love this pic!

See Ezias run...

Ezias just finished another four weeks of soccer training. Although from this video it looks like he's just running...and maybe a little bit of pushing. It must be a defense mechanism he uses to protect what's his. We enjoy watching and cheering as much as he loves playing sports. He is now on to basketball and is excited that one of his friends from church has joined in on the fun. Josh is very patient with him as he teaches basic skills at home. Ezias has told Josh that he wants him to be his coach which makes me smile. These two make a great team.
