See Ezias read....

Ezias and I love taking trips to the library. First thing we do is head straight to the movie section for kids. Ezias then asks where are the superman movies? He has been on a superhero kick for a while now. He loves the justice league series. His favorites are Superman, Batman and Flash. He asked me the other week if I thought that Superwoman was hot???? I didn't know how to respond. So I've been monitoring these particular dvd's more carefully. After choosing a couple of movies we move to the books for kids. I love reading books with him. His memory amazes me. When he doesn't memorize all of the words his imagination entertains us. He keeps mommy and daddy giggling at night when reading his bedtime stories and saying his nightly prayers. Gotta love this kid!

Love and Basketball

Our weeks stay busy between work, school, church callings, sports and play time. This week Josh managed to squeeze in a Valentine's Day surprise. After a long day at work this is what I find waiting in my car....chocolate covered apples, bananas and strawberries! De-lic-ious-ness. I had just told my co-workers that I prefer something cute and edible over a bouquet of flowers. Bonus points for Josh! It's not often that I'm surprised, but I have to admit...he got me!

Our Saturdays are currently being filled with sports. Ezias is playing soccer and Josh is coaching the young mens basketball team. It's fun to cheer them both on. I have videos of Ezias but still can't figure out how to get them on the page...so maybe next time.

Boy, oh boy!

Well I guess Ezias can say "I told you so!" Today we went to my Doctor's appointment to find out some very exciting news....We are having a BOY! This was a surprise to Josh and I, but EZ knew it the whole time, as he would keep asking me how his brother was. I tried telling him "what if its a sister?" He would just look at us and say "No, He's my BROTHER!" We are very excited to be adding to our family. The ultra sound was very fun to see our little one squirming around. Now there's only one problem...how do we come up with a name to beat Ezias Jackson Poli??? Good thing we have 5 months to think on it. We've been contemplating entering the blog world and we thought this would make a great first post. Wish us luck as we try to keep you updated on the exciting changes that will be taking place our near future.
